"A friend in need is a friend indeed" = bạn có mặt khi gặp hoạn nạn mới thật là bạn. Cụm này có nghĩa là người bạn hay giúp ta lúc hoạn nạn, khốn khó chính là một người bạn tốt; chính là "gian nan mới biết bạn bè" đó các bạn :)

Ví dụ
He opens his textbook and reads out loud "We must always help others" followed by others reading out "A friend in need is a friend indeed" and "We must do what is right".

The saying goes 'A friend in need is a friend indeed', and it is very accurate (chính xác). Some people only know others when they are in trouble or need a helping hand, but when the time comes to give the assistance they received, it's not happening.

This simple philosophy (triết lý) has a very deep meaning where a friend in need is a friend indeed. We consider our friends like families and they are also the one who determines (quyết định) our upbringing (sự giáo dục) too. A good friend will fight for us and will always have our back when needed. As per the story we find that Simba, the son of Mufasa and the Prince of the Pride Lands, hopes to follow in his father's footsteps. But Scar, Mufasa's brother tries to push him into exile (đày ải) where he meets Timon and Pumbaa where he makes an alliance (làm bạn) and rebuilds himself fully to take what is rightfully theirs.
