"A ghost at the feast" nghĩa là gì?

"A ghost at the feast" = "A spectre at the feast" = bóng ma ở bữa tiệc. Cụm này được dùng để chỉ người (hay vật) đem đến sự u ám, buồn bã trong một sự kiện.

Ví dụ:
“My friends were busy with their own families and as a childless (không có con) widow (góa phụ), I felt like a ghost at the feast. They were kind, but they didn't know how I was feeling."
