"A little rough around the edges" nghĩa là gì?

"A little rough around the edges" = các góc cạnh còn hơi thô -> dùng để miêu tả người hay vật có tính chất hơi thô, không được hoàn hảo, bóng bẩy về vẻ bề ngoài, sự tinh tế hay cách xử lý, cư xử. Ngoài ra cụm này còn được dùng để thể hiện tình trạng sức khỏe không được tốt.
Ví dụ:
Today, I was a bit rough around the edge but I still gave a pretty good presentation.
This car is a little rough around its edges but it still works very well.
There’s still a tinge (thoáng chút) of “amateurish” (không chuyên) charm (nét hấp dẫn) to the band’s occasional distortion (kỹ thuật làm méo âm thanh) or rough-around-the-edge play style, but the attention to detail and skill deployed (triển khai) make this album an excellent exhibition for the band, and shows an immense amount for talent for a group who are still only in the early stages of their career.
