"As a dog returns to his vomit, so a fool repeats his folly" (Như việc một con chó có thể ăn lại những thứ nó nôn ra, một người ngu ngốc có thể lặp lại những sai lầm của họ.) là câu thành ngữ ý muốn nói rằng những người ngu ngốc thường có xu hướng lặp lại những lỗi lầm, những hành động sai trái mà họ đã từng gây ra.
