"Beware the ides of March" nghĩa là gì?

'Beware the ides of March' = cẩn thận với ngày 15 của tháng 3. Từ Ides nghĩa là ngày thứ 15 của tháng 3, 5,7 và tháng 10 theo lịch La Mã cổ. Theo lịch sử cổ đại thì ngày 15/3 là ngày lãnh tụ Cộng hòa La Mã Julius Caesar bị sát hại. Từ này cũng từng xuất hiện trong vở kịch Julius Caesar năm 1601 của Shakespeare để cảnh báo về cái chết của Caesar . Ngày nay từ này dùng để chỉ một điềm báo xấu.
