"Bless your cotton socks" nghĩa là gì?

"Bless (one's) cotton socks" = phù hộ/ ban phước cho đôi vớ của bạn -> (cách nói hài hước) được sử dụng để thể hiện sự ưu ái của bạn dành cho ai đó vì những điều họ nói/ làm. Cụm từ thường được sử dụng ở Anh, Úc.
Ví dụ
Others poked fun at Madeleine’s accent, a Cat Hogan writing: ‘That is so funny. Bless her cotton socks and the sewer limons.’
Ah bless his cotton socks. Seriously, I think his visit is a good thing, I mean what other non-Christian country would welcome the Pope (giáo hoàng).
