"Break out in a cold sweat" = toát mồ hôi lạnh -> chỉ sự lo lắng, sợ hãi.

Ví dụ
It’s the number one thing my partner and I don’t talk about. Well, I shouldn’t say we don’t talk about it. He tries; I break out into a cold sweat and my left eye starts twitching (co giật).

In an exercise looking at beliefs (nhìn vào niềm tin), I asked the group how many people love flying and how many hate it? About half loved it, especially turbulence (hỗn loạn, bất an), and the other half broke out in a cold sweat at the mere mention of the word.

According to a 2019 survey from market research company (công ty nghiên cứu thị trường) Leger, sponsored by Banana Boat, one in two Canadians aren't applying enough sunscreen (kem chống nắng) to protect themselves from harmful rays (tia có hại), and nearly a quarter say they don't wear any sunscreen at all. As a former beauty editor and devoted sun safety advocate (ủng hộ), these numbers make me break out in a cold sweat.
