Câu thành ngữ: "If you lie down with dogs, you will get up with fleas" (Nếu bạn ngủ chung với chó thì bạn sẽ thức dậy với bọ chét) có ngụ ý rằng: Nếu ta tiếp xúc, giao du với kẻ xấu thì trước sau gì ta cũng sẽ lãnh phải những hậu quả không mấy tốt đẹp từ họ. Trong tiếng Việt có thể dùng câu thành ngữ tương đương: "Đi đêm lắm cũng có ngày gặp ma."

In the final analysis, whether you were right or wrong, you must recall your mother’s magical words that made you feel warm and wanted — words that could only come from the mouth of your mother: “You are still my baby.” Unfortunately, too many young people do not have strong Black mothers in their lives today.
