"Look/feel like death warmed over/up" = trông ốm yếu, kiệt sức.

Ví dụ
When I was young and really WAS looking good, no one ever told me I was looking good. Now that I'm old and look like death warmed over, everyone's telling me how good I look.

The odd (kỳ lạ) couple were now separated by security guards. Jones had the same expression as before while Cairney, now in a wheelchair (xe lăn) and looking like death warmed up, stared right at me as I gave my evidence (chứng cớ).

The reason for this was simple. Kennedy looked tanned (cháy nắng), rested, and ready, in the words of one journalist, like “a bronzed warrior (chiến binh bằng đồng).” By contrast, Nixon looked like warmed-over death. His “Lazy Shave” (lười cạo râu) makeup exposed his beard growth.

My hair was in a muddy (xám xịt) brown, deep depressive funk (trầm buồn). I looked like I was back in eighth grade, minus the clear braces (niềng răng trong) and six weeks of mono. I looked like death warmed over, and there wasn’t enough magenta (đỏ sậm) lipstick in the world to hide how I was feeling inside.
