"Shed crocodile tears" nghĩa là gì?

"Shed crocodile tears" = nước mắt cá sấu. Theo quan điểm từ xưa, cá sấu rơi nước mắt khi đang ăn con mồi mà nó vừa giết chết, bởi vậy nói ai đó "nước mắt cá sấu" là chỉ sự dối trá hoặc cảm xúc giả tạo.
