"Speak off the cuff" nghĩa là gì?

"Speak off the cuff" có nghĩa là nói/ phát biểu mà không chuẩn bị trước. Cụm từ bắt nguồn từ thời xưa, khi đàn ông mặc những chiếc áo có cổ tay làm bằng giấy để họ viết chữ lên đó ("cuff" là cổ tay áo), việc này giúp họ có thể đọc được từ cổ tay.
