"Take (one) for a fool" -> Thừa nhận/cho là ai đó rất ngu ngốc, đần độn và như một tên ngốc.
Ví dụ
He has no intention (không có ý định) of marrying you. He is already tied up (đã có chủ rồi, hoa đã có chậu). So, stop allowing him to take you for a fool.
