"Get cold feet" nghĩa là gì?

"Get/have cold feet" = chân lạnh cóng -> nghĩa là quá sợ hãi, lo lắng để làm một việc đã được lên kế hoạch từ trước, và không chắc có muốn tiếp tục hay không.

Ví dụ
He and his neighbors bought a fire truck to protect their area, but the neighbors got cold feet.

Summer will push down any lingering (còn xót lại) feelings for Kyle and decide to attend. Of course, she’ll be forbidden from bringing Theo. Unfortunately, Kyle himself will end up being the worst threat to this wedding. He’ll get cold feet just before everyone gathers to watch in the Chancellor Pavilion. It looks like Kyle will be a no-show briefly as he works through his issues and feelings of unworthiness (không xứng).

One can argue that Netflix boosted its prices here and in several international markets during the quarter (quý). It's only natural for cancellations to spike and for potential subscribers to get cold feet. However, Netflix knew this was happening when it initiated (bắt đầu) its guidance back in April. It just overestimated (đánh giá quá cao) its pricing elasticity (linh hoạt).
