Thái độ hơi nhẫn nhịn một tí Photo by Christina Morillo on Pexels

'Go round/around the houses' = đi vòng quanh nhà -> tốn thời gian và năng lượng để nói những điều không quan trọng trước khi đi vào ý chính, cái này là nói 'vòng vo tam quốc' này, mà các bạn nhớ nha 'nói dài, nói dai thành nói dại' đó

Ví dụ
“That’s what matters. All the others that dodge (né tránh) the issue and go around the houses, we’re not deaf to see that.”

“I don’t want to go round the houses to get that world title shot. I want a shot at one of the world champions now. Without blowing smoke up my own backside, I’m still one of the big names in the division.

“At meetings in western Europe or the US you can have a bust up round the table. But Japan doesn’t work like that. You have to go around the houses. He’s very good at managing the relationships and the co-ordination.”

Only the sacristan (người giữ nhà thờ) Mikhail, the only one to vote against, tells of the pressures of the promoters towards the assembly: "It all happened very quickly, within three days ... to take the initiative were the most influential parishioners (giáo dân) and richer, who could afford to go around the houses to convince others, had more contacts than everyone else. We, on the contrary, were not very organized ".
