"Jump down one’s throat" = nhảy vào họng -> hét/ gào lên vì tức giận với ai.

Ví dụ
I’m sure Texas fans are about to jump down my throat, but I don’t care. I’m here to tell the truth. I’m not here to make you feel better about your reality.

Before we all jump down Powell’s throat to say that he’s nothing but a hater sipping on (uống ngụm nhỏ) a haterade (từ ghép giữa đồ uống và hater) compactor, I am going to be the first to jump out on a ledge (đá ngầm) and say that he makes some valid points.

Before you jump down my throat for using hyperbole (cường điệu) or putting too much weight into a Week 1 non-conference game – hear me out. Bragging rights (quyền nói khoác) will obviously be on the line, as both sides will want to end the Denver era of the RMS on top.
