"Pure as the driven snow" = trắng như tuyết cuốn -> nghĩa là hoàn toàn trong sạch, có đạo đức, không bị vấy bẩn bởi tội lỗi hay những hành vi sai trái, vô đạo đức.

Ví dụ
Of course, you may be thinking Aha! But those people were protected by athletic departments (bộ phận thể thao). The rest of academia (học viện) is pure as the driven snow.

There remains in this country issues (vấn đề) over intolerance (không khoan dung). We are not pure as the driven snow. But be thankful for small mercies (nhân từ). In a world where fear and race (phân biệt chủng tộc) are being used to whip up intolerance, Ireland can hold its head up high. Long may it continue.

To be clear, I am not putting Rabin or the Labor Party forward as heroes whose motives were as pure as the driven snow. Both had much to answer for in their past statements (lệnh) and actions. Also, there is no guarantee (đảm bảo) that had Rabin lived, Oslo’s goals could have been realized. But at least there was some small glimmer (tia sáng le lói) of possibility that was snuffed out that night. And we are now living in the nightmare Bibi conjured in that speech.
