"Quiet as a lamb" nghĩa là gì?

"Quiet as a lamb" hoặc "quiet as a mouse" (yên lặng như cừu/chuột) là các thành ngữ nhằm ám chỉ trạng thái hết sức yên lặng hoặc để miêu tả tính cách ít nói, hiền lành, nhu mì của con người.
Ví dụ:
Ants in their nests won’t interfere (đụng vào) with you until you step on their nest. They are usually as ‘quiet as a lamb”, minding their own business. But when those ants begin to bite you, ‘yuh behave like mad ants”.
So how do women stay strong and in control, given this narrower band of acceptable behavior? They can start by revamping (cải thiện) their communication style, resisting (kháng cự) the extremes of acting like a bull (con bò) in a china shop or being as quiet as a mouse.
