"Rose-tinted glasses" = (nhìn qua) lăng kính màu hồng -> Nghĩa là lạc quan về việc/tình huống nào đó.

Ví dụ
Really, it’s one of those summer decisions (quyết định) that doesn’t change a great deal, unless of course he’s suddenly (đột nhiên) a 50-point guy again and then we’re looking at it with rose-tinted glasses!

Her love songs, by comparison, were never as tangible (hữu hình). They were built upon fantasies (tưởng tượng) and metaphors (ẩn dụ), always viewed through rose-tinted glasses. While her heartbreak tales (câu chuyện) were helplessly grounded in harsh, recognizable realities, her love songs were at their best when they were telling someone else’s story, like the Romeo & Juliet-inspired “Love Story” or Ethel and Robert F. Kennedy on “Starlight.” If it wasn’t someone else’s story, the love Swift wrote about was always a precursor (điềm báo) to a fall; cursed, dangerous, and doomed from the start, like “Treacherous,” “Out of the Woods” or “Getaway Car.”

Yup, I’m finding a certain irony (mỉa mai) in being your life insurance (bảo hiểm) adviser with rose-tinted glasses. But hey, if you can’t laugh at yourself, who can you laugh at?
