"Singe your wings" nghĩa là gì?

"Singe one's wings" = cháy xém đôi cánh -> người gặp tổn thương, hủy hoại vì cố gắng làm điều nguy hiểm. Cụm từ ám chỉ đến nhân vật thần thoại Icarus, người đã chế tạo một bộ cánh bằng lông vũ và đã bị thiêu rụi khi anh ta bay quá gần mặt trời.
