"A call of nature" = tiếng gọi của thiên nhiên -> nghĩa là cần phải đi giải quyết "nỗi buồn".

Ví dụ
An Indiana woman dodged (né) death thanks to a call of nature Sunday afternoon, moments before a speeding car plowed through the wall of the room where she had been working in her home at the east end of town.

The surgery (phẫu thuật) was difficult but successful so they insisted John slept the night in his scrubs in a room next to Saddam, with guards outside his room. John needed a call of nature in the night and walks into the corridor (hành lang), but the guards changed at midnight and the new guards thought he was an intruder (kẻ xâm nhập). He survived.

Rossetto was the first to throw in the towel from the break, the Frenchman stopping for a call of nature before sitting up to be reabsorbed (hút lại) by the pack with around 60km remaining. Spaniard Rubio led the remaining escapees through the intermediate sprint in Gijon before Belgian debutant Vanhoucke led the move over the summit of the only categorised climb, the gentle Cat.3 Alto La Madera, with 25km remaining.
