"Beat the system" = đánh bật hệ thống -> cụm từ này nghĩa là thành công trong việc tránh hoặc lách những luật lệ, quy định hoặc những cách thức kiểm soát khác.

Ví dụ
Apple has received a glove slap from a developer who believes he's found a way to beat the system. Riley Testut has created AltStore, which, as its name implies, is an alternative app store for iOS users. Unlike other attempts at bypassing the stringent (nghiêm ngặt, chặt chẽ) standards of the official App Store, Altstore doesn't require you to jailbreak your phone.

On 29 September 2019, the Sunday Nation reported that at the start of the month, 99 percent of those who had converted the old notes (tiền giấy) had one million shillings or less, with only 24 individuals presenting to 42 banks with old notes worth more than two million shillings. "This means either no one had more than the on million shillings in cash, or those who did decided to beat the system by breaking their loot (của cải, tiền bạc) into smaller amounts to escape the scrutiny (sự kiểm soát kỹ lưỡng) of the CBK," the newspaper said.

In any case, the main drawback to having a dog isn't its obsequious (vâng lời, dễ bảo) personality, it's that, like a child or a BDSM slave, having one is a big responsibility. And, just as with children (and probably BDSM slaves), there are people who think they can beat the system by totally abdicating (từ bỏ) that responsibility. That, of course, is just what your leash-law violators are doing. I could not find a single veterinarian (bác sĩ thú y), animal behaviorist, trainer or dog whisperer who thinks leash laws (luật yêu cầu phải xích giữ chó nơi công cộng) are a bad idea.
