"Have a crush on somebody" -> nghĩa là phải lòng ai (thường được dùng bởi giới trẻ).

Ví dụ
I used to have a massive crush on my geography teacher (cô giáo dạy địa lý).

Friendship is a glorious (đẹp đẽ) thing, built on chemistry (sự ăn ý, hợp nhau (giữa hai người)) and trust. It’s so easy to accidentally fall in love (maybe you’re not ready to use that word – shall we say have a crush?) with someone you already feel close to.

After a fantastic article by The Shatner Chatner on Josh Charles’ specific appeal (hấp dẫn) (which put a name to the nebulous (không rõ ràng) concept of the “Hot Tired Man”), I felt that culturally we were in a safe space for me to mention that I have a crush on Succession’s Kendall Roy. This is a controversial (tranh cãi) take for a number of reasons, and the reactions to my reveal were fairly gendered. From women, a relief that they were not alone in feeling the same way, and from men there was a very resounding (tiếng vang lớn), “what the fuck??”
