"Jive talk" nghĩa là gì?

"Jive talk" = lời nói khó hiểu -> cụm từ này nghĩa là tiếng lóng, những từ ngữ hợp mốt của xã hội hiện tại.

Born in Austin in 1913, Durst gained a reputation in the city’s blues scene in the 1930s and ’40s for his rhythmic vocal style known as “jive talk,” which eventually got him work calling local Negro league baseball games.
His slender pamphlet dictionary would help promote equality in a society where being black was not an advantage. The hugely successful book would appeal to both black and white audiences as it introduced the African-American jive talk and Harlem-style jazz to people who even lived far away from New York, according to History.

"They appear to have led double lives, living out idiotic fantasies. Talking in stupid jive talk. Idiotic, juvenile, pathetic, but not sinister - stupid."
