“Kick up a fuss” = gây náo loạn, xáo trộn (thông qua tranh luận hoặc kêu ca phàn nàn)

Ví dụ
Dejan Lovren has admitted he wanted to depart Liverpool during the transfer window (kỳ chuyển nhượng), but will not kick up a fuss that it didn’t happen.

Naturally, that didn’t help me in my career. Only the troublemakers (kẻ gây rối)—those willing to kick up a fuss and perhaps make others a bit uncomfortable—get anything great done. So for a long time, I didn’t ask for what I wanted.

As he gathers his team about him, men are recruited (được tuyển) on the basis of their killer instincts (bản năng sát thủ) and ethical detachment (tách rời đạo đức), women on the basis of whether they look good in skirts and don’t kick up a fuss when he makes his predatory moves (săn mồi) on them.
