"Be chafing at the bit" nghĩa là gì?

"Be chafing at the bit" = cáu tiết với cái hàm thiếc -> cụm từ này nghĩa là sốt ruột, thiếu kiên nhẫn, hăm hở do muốn điều gì xảy ra hoặc do sự trì hoãn, chậm trễ. Cụm từ này sử dụng hình ảnh ví von như một con ngựa đang cáu tiết vì phải vật lộn với cái hàm thiếc của mình.
