"Cancel (one's) Christmas" = Hủy lễ giáng sinh của ai -> Giết chết ai/phá hủy cuộc đời ai (thông tục).

In the comic (khôi hài, kịch vui), Negan is let out of prison (ra tù) by a boy who harbors (nuôi dưỡng, chứa chấp, giữ) a grudge (mối ác cảm, hận thù) against Rick Grimes. Negan wanders (lang thang) away and eventually joins up with the Whisperers, figuring that he might as well join the other powerful group that wants to wipe out (xóa sạch, thủ tiêu) the people that want to cancel his Christmas.
I could be wrong about Carol and her plan, but with Negan free from jail (ra tù), I do believe that we are heading down the same comic road that leads Negan to cross paths with Alpha and probably cancel her Christmas. But we may have to wait a few weeks to find out, as it’s not clear how fast that storyline will advance. Though I know next week is indeed focused on Negan to some extent. Stay tuned.
Karuna: “Compassion for those who are suffering.” It is easy enough to watch TV and empathise (thấu cảm) with people in Africa suffering from the Ebola virus or to open a car window and with genuine sympathy (sự cảm thông, đồng cảm chân thành) hand over some money to a beggar (ăn mày). It is easy and often rewarding to help a loved when they are sick. But what if this illness is long term? What if this means you have to cancel your Christmas vacation? Selfishly (một cách ích kỷ) thinking of one’s own plans and needs will only harm your relationship. Try to accept the situation by seeing that one day the tables might be turned and you might be need of help.
