"Dust-up" (làm bụi bay lên) là từ dùng để ám chỉ một cuộc chiến hoặc một cuộc tranh cãi.

Ví dụ
Reigning (cầm quyền/thống trị) WorldSBK Champion Jonathan Rea prevailed (thắng thế) in the final WorldSBK desert dust-up after a three-way battle with Alvaro Bautista and Chaz Davies in the last race of the 2019 season.

Some newspapers today have reported that there was a dust-up in the tunnels of the Stadio Olimpico between Roma’s Aleksander Kolarov and Cagliari’s Luca Pellegrini following Sunday’s 1-1 draw (trận hoà) between the two sides. Reportedly, the former Giallorossi fullback said some provoking (khiêu khích/châm chọc) words to the Serbian, who ultimately (cuối cùng) confronted the now Juve-owned defender (hậu vệ).

Tulsi Gabbard dust-up shows Dems need to dump (gạt bỏ) the Clintons for good. Hillary Rodham Clinton is every inch (hệt như) the conspiracy (mưu đồ) theorist (nhà lý luận) that Donald Trump is, and she demonstrated (bày tỏ/chứng minh) that with her recent suggestion that both Representative Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) and progressive third-party presidential candidate Jill Stein are “Russian assets ("tài sản"),” part of a scheme (kế hoạch) in which Moscow and the GOP are tag-teaming Democrats in the 2020 election (cuộc tuyển cử).
