"Lost without" nghĩa là gì?

"Feel/be lost without (someone or something)" = mất phương hướng, lầm đường lạc lối vì thiếu (ai/ điều gì), cảm thấy không thể làm việc hay sống thiếu điều đó được.
Ví dụ
I was lost without you in my life, but now I feel whole again.
'I dare say you are right,' said the other ; ' but the fact is, I feel so lost without a pint of beer, or a glass of gin (loại rượu).'
We do not automatically feel that empty, hollow feeling of confusion and absence (trống vắng). Sometimes “being” and “feeling” are different. We can feel lost in very familiar places. We can feel lost without ever moving.
Have you ever left your wallet on the dresser or left your purse in your car? You run around feeling empty and lost. That's the way it should be when you leave your sharing Bible/New Testament (Kinh tân ước) behind. It should become such a part of you that you feel lost without it.
