"Think piece" nghĩa là gì?

"Think piece" = bài viết của sự suy nghĩ -> cụm từ này nghĩa là một bài viết, đặc biệt là bài xã luận của một tờ báo hoặc tạp chí, đưa ra sự nhận xét sâu sắc đối với một vấn đề hoặc đề tài nào đó.

Ví dụ
“The book isn’t just a think piece: I reported extensively on college campuses from Middlebury in Vermont to Evergreen in Washington,” Moskowitz said. “I talked with dozens of college students and professors about what free speech means to them, why they protest far-right speakers, and much more.”

Here’s a think piece on what the author terms (đặt tên là) the “She-conomy 2.0,” in which the author opines (cho rằng) — probably, hopefully, correctly, we think — that “there’s a profound generational shift afloat (lan truyền đi, hoạt động sôi nổi), and that this first wave of female-led unicorns is just the tip of the NASDAQ iceberg” [TechCrunch]. Microsoft’s Maruschka Loubser, who is director of global brand marketing partnerships, is leading the company’s push into the fashion industry with its AI and mixed reality tools [Vogue Business].

In 1995, I was in a pretty big-budget movie called Waterworld, and a major plot point of Waterworld was that the polar ice caps had completely melted, the sea levels rose, and the world was covered in water. I guess I’m bringing this up because a big thing currently happening on Earth is that Waterworld is kind of happening in real life. So what I’m wondering is this: Do you guys think there’s anything to that? That maybe there’s a pointed newspaper op-ed in there somewhere? Like, I dunno (tôi không biết), a 400- to 600-word think piece about how prescient (tiên tri) Waterworld was? Maybe something that weaves (kết lại) together the themes of Waterworld and relates them to our current global predicament (tình thế khó khăn)?
