This is cultural protest / revolution; we must not bow to those arrogants (kiêu ngạo) in government who obviously are hostile (căm ghét) and indifferent to culture and the arts. They forget we have elected them and without us they do not exist. Power and money are their gods and they have to remember that “You cannot serve God and mammon”.

"No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon." Unless we make up our minds to fully serve (phục vụ) the Lord, money, prosperity and riches will always be tempting to us. Unless we choose to serve God and make our money serve Him too, there will always be a competition between God and riches in our hearts.

This entire week, an epic battle between Church and Mammon has raged. This has been a battle between those who believe that the church of Christ should steer away (chuyển hướng) from the pursuit of money, while the other is adamant that the smell of dirty money is only in the nostrils of hypocrites (kẻ đạo đức giả). It appears that the former have taken to heart the biblical exhortation to Christians: “No man can serve two masters … You cannot serve God and Mammon”.
