"Eat like a bird" nghĩa là gì?

"Eat like a bird" = ăn như chim mổ -> cụm từ này nghĩa là ăn rất ít, ăn nhấm nháp.
Ví dụ
Norman gives Marion a light dinner (bữa ăn nhẹ) and while she’s eating mutters, “You-you eat like a bird.” The two then joke about the phrase since birds actually eat quite a bit of food compared to their weight.
Are you one of those people who feel like you only have to look at food for it to end up sticking to you? Do you notice what the people around you eat and wonder how you can be the size you are when you feel as if you eat like a bird? Do you feel the way you eat does not warrant your size?
My bowl arrived with conchiglie (nui có hình dạng vỏ sò nhỏ) (or shell) pasta topped with buffalo fried chicken and bacon (thịt lợn muối xông khói) and steaming with the aroma (mùi thơm) of melted cheese. Although I'm one of those people who eat like a bird, I sat in my seat until comfortably and enjoyably finished every bite.
