That being said, you cannot abuse or take advantage of (lợi dụng) them whatsoever. As an indie director, you have to hold up your end of the bargain by ensuring that your cast and crew are always respected, safe and listened to. All of these elements (yếu tố) are what make a creative and cohesive (dính kết) family unit on set.

“We made commitments (sự cam kết) to all three of our kids,” Khalfani-Cox told Business Insider. “We’ve told them, essentially: ‘Your job, first and foremost, is be a good person, and be a good student. If you hold up your end of the bargain and do the right things, this is what we’re prepared to do for you: We will buy you your first house, and we will pay for your college.'”

If you lease (thuê) a car, and do not hold up your end of the bargain when it comes to maintenance (sự bão dưỡng) and insurance (bảo hiểm), the car's owner can do it for you and charge you for it. If you return the car at the end of the lease and it has more than normal wear and tear, you do not just forfeit a deposit (bồi thường tiền đặt cọc) – you also have to pay to bring it up to spec (sự đầu cơ kinh doanh).
