"Take it slow" (đừng vội/chậm thôi) có nghĩa là tiến hành, thực hiện hành động một cách chậm nhưng cẩn thận và có tính toán kỹ lưỡng.

Ví dụ
Many spots (chỗ/điểm) of the road in downtown have slush (tuyết tan). Drivers are coming through downtown pretty quick, so make sure to take it slow. The best thing you can do is to slow down and remember to keep plenty of stopping distance between your car and the one in front of you.

Oklahoma City police say drivers should take it slow. If you are driving around neighborhoods, keep in mind (ghi nhớ/lưu ý) that kids will be excited to go from house to house. Experts (chuyên gia) say you should slow down and be aware of your surroundings to prevent any major accidents.

Even if you don’t keep up (= continute to do) your prepregnancy (trước khi sinh) mileage (hiểu trong ngữ cảnh: số dặm cần đạt được trong bài tập trước khi sinh) or find yourself needing to take it slow—don’t freak out (phát khùng). Just by getting active, both you and baby will benefit. If running causes too much discomfort, getting in those 150 minutes per week could come from low-impact exercises like swimming or taking a brisk (nhanh) walk.
