"(You) can't take it with you" = Bạn không thể mang theo nó cùng -> Khi chết đi thì bạn không thể mang theo của cải vật chất của mình theo, vì thế hãy tận hưởng nó khi còn sống.

Ví dụ
They say you can’t take it with you, but some people are looking to make an exception (sự ngoại lệ) when it comes to their pets and a funeral (đám tang) home chain is helping them do it.

You know the saying, "you can't take it with you when you go"? When you are on your death bed, you probably won't be thinking about 400 dollar purse you bought. You will be thinking about the places you've been and the people you were with. So go to the concerts, take the trips, do the things! Spend your money on experiences.

As the old saying goes, "you can't take it with you." Even then, it's not entirely clear that you can successfully leave it behind for your loved ones, either. Unfortunately, if your goal is to establish a legacy (tài sản kế thừa) that allows your family to live comfortably for the foreseeable future, chances are that future won't play out the way you hoped. The vast majority of inherited money (tiền được thừa kế) is lost by the second generation -- and by the third generation, around 90% of family fortunes are gone.
