“Get a grip” có nghĩa là bình tĩnh, cố gắng kiểm soát cảm xúc của bản thân. Khi bạn nắm giữ (grip) một thứ gì đó, bạn có khả năng hoàn toàn kiểm soát được mình. “Get a grip of” còn có thể là hiểu hơn về một điều gì đó.
