"It is better to give than to receive" = Ban cho có phước hơn nhận lãnh (trích từ Kinh Thánh) -> Cho đi thì tốt hơn nhận lại hoặc có được điều gì; cho đi thì được xem có giá trị và đạo đức hơn so việc mình chỉ nhận và đạt được.

A community that through the grace (ân điển) of God — whose son's birth Christians around the world proclaim today — each year more fully appreciates the old maxim (châm ngôn) that reminds us it is better to give than to receive.

Most recognize the mantra (câu thần chú), "it is better to give than to receive" as a spiritual truth and a good moral practice exercised especially around the Christmas season every year, but perhaps many do not realize that the statement is also backed up by science.

“For me, this is something that I wanted for a long time was to get my kids to understand that it is better to give than to receive. For them to actually do it, that was more of a Christmas present to me than anything is to see that kids having a giving heart is really important,” James Miller said.
