"Pull the rug" nghĩa là gì?

"Pull the rug (out)" = giật tấm thảm ra -> đột ngột ngừng giúp đỡ ai đó khi họ gặp khó khăn.
Ví dụ
They want to pull the rug out from under the people who really need health care.
