"Take amiss" nghĩa là gì?

"Take (something) amiss" = Xem điều gì là sai -> Coi điều gì là vô ích, không phù hợp và hiểu nhầm cái gì; bực mình, phật ý.
Ví dụ
"I hope he won’t take it amiss but if he does it’s a regrettable inevitability (sự không thể tránh) when I say that the Honourable Gentleman has put on the record his understanding of the legal position.
