"Lie down on the job" nghĩa là gì?

"Lie down on the job" = bò nhoài ra làm việc -> nghĩa là làm việc không hết sức, trốn tránh trách nhiệm.
Ví dụ

By September, Wrigley doubled down, ripping Cubs players (except Ernie Banks) in an open letter to fans than ran as a paid ad (quảng cáo) in Chicago newspapers: “(Durocher) is running the team and if some players do not like it and lie down on the job, during the offseason we will see what we can do to find them happier homes.”
They don’t ever lie down on the job, they don’t ever stop, they want to keep going. Even after a big chase they’ll recover (hồi phục) in 15 minutes and be ready to go again.
