"Pull a stunt" = làm trò nguy hiểm -> làm một việc gì đó ngu ngốc hoặc nguy hiểm.

Ví dụ
He says he loves his kids, but when he pulls a stunt like this it makes me wonder (kinh ngạc).

There are deals on Chromebooks, and then there are RIDICULOUS (lố bịch) deals on Chromebooks. This one falls in the latter (cái sau) category, and it isn’t the first time we’ve seen Google pull a stunt like this with this particular Chromebook. The only difference this time around is the fact that we have a firm (chắc chắn) end date on the bundle sale and it isn’t too far in the future.

Johnson isn’t the first Tory (thành viên Đảng bảo thủ Anh) PM to hate the BBC. Margaret Thatcher detested (ghét cay ghét đắng) it with a passion, but even she would never have tried to pull a stunt like this. Getting legislation (pháp luật) to change the BBC’s funding (tài trợ) model would be difficult, though not impossible. And stranger things have happened. Like Johnson becoming prime minister.
