"At a stretch" nghĩa là gì?

"At a stretch" có từ "stretch" là khoảng thời gian kéo dài liên tục -> một mạch, liên tù tì.

Ví dụ

A recent study showed that more than 60 per cent millennials in India feel anxious when they see unread emails in their inbox. It revealed that as many as two in five millennials get extremely uncomfortable if they haven't been able to check their work email for three-four hours at a stretch. Millennials across the globe today are increasingly getting hooked on (mắc phải) to the practice of keeping their inbox empty/near-empty at all times - popularly known as ‘Inbox Zero.

It may then come as a surprise that becoming a doctor is actually easier than it used to be, at least in terms of time spent on the job. The reason for these grueling (kiệt sức) hours: a belief by many in the profession that long hours were a rite (nghi thức) of passage necessary for giving doctors the clinical skills to practice independently.
