"Better safe than sorry" nghĩa là gì?

"Better safe than sorry" = thà an toàn hơn là nuối tiếc -> nghĩa là nên dành nhiều thời gian để cẩn trọng với hành vi của mình để sau này không phải hối tiếc vì bất cẩn, giống 'cẩn tắc vô ưu' hay 'cẩn thận vẫn hơn' đó các bạn.

Ví dụ
Though James Bond fans are probably disappointed (thất vọng) to hear this news about No Time To Die, it seems like a good call. Better safe than sorry is always a good rule of thumb, especially when something as dangerous as coronavirus is involved.

So, taking a “better safe than sorry” approach is probably best for overly cautious (cẩn thận quá mức) consumers. But Halden acknowledged that it might mean throwing away food that’s perfectly safe to eat. One of the best ways to combat this is to only purchase an amount of food your household can realistically consume. And food preservation methods like freezing can safely extend the shelf life of many foods.

Just the simple wear and tear over time. Especially those concussions. They can take a toll (thiệt hại) on you in the long haul. It's just better safe than sorry. But if it wasn't for that throughout the course of time, then I probably would have played for the next five years, at least. But I feel like I made a great decision as I move forward.
