"Brush them under the carpet" nghĩa là gì?

"Brush/sweep (something) under the carpet" = phủi (giấu) dưới thảm -> cụm từ này nghĩa là phớt lờ, phủ nhận hoặc che giấu kiến thức về điều gì đó gây bối rối, không hấp dẫn hoặc gây tổn hại đến danh tiếng của một người khỏi công chúng; cố gắng giấu và quên đi điều gì.
