"My Sunday finest" nghĩa là gì?

"(One's) Sunday finest/ best" hoặc (one's) "Sunday-go-to-meeting clothes" nghĩa là bộ đồ đẹp nhất, chưng diện nhất của một người. Chủ nhật thường là ngày để đến nhà thờ và không ai mặc trang phục thường ngày để đi lễ cả.
Ví dụ
She looked beautiful in her finest dress, and I felt uncomfortable in my Sunday's finest.
She bought a fabulous new dress and a “Sunday go-to-meeting” hat, so I guess we were both ready for “our” debut—after posing for pictures next to our very fancy DeSoto Adventurer before we left our house!
