"Shotgun approach" nghĩa là gì?

"Shotgun approach" = phương pháp súng ngắn -> nghĩa là chiến lược tiếp thị cố gắng thu hút sự chú ý của lượng lớn khách hàng tiềm năng bằng nhiều cách khác nhau. Tình huống này xảy ra khi khách hàng mục tiêu quá đa dạng để tập trung vào bất kỳ phân khúc nào.

Ví dụ
“We want to get away from this random shotgun approach to mission and be more strategic (chiến lược),” Heading said. “We are trying to cross over from ‘we give so others can go’ to ‘we give, we pray and we go.’”

When wearables first started hitting the market, it seemed like there was a wearable for everything. Companies took the shotgun approach to market research, created a plethora (thừa thãi) of products, and figured out (tìm ra) what stuck.

This really just results in a ‘shotgun’ approach, where it becomes ‘fastest finger first’ and the agency that can get as many people in front of the client in the shortest possible time, has the greatest chance of being successful.
