"Culture shock" nghĩa là gì?

"Culture shock" = sốc văn hóa -> cảm thấy lo lắng, ngạc nhiên, mất phương hướng hoặc bối rối khi phải hoạt động trong một nền văn hóa hay môi trường xã hội hoàn toàn khác như khi ở nước ngoài.

From driving to ordering a coffee, Americans often experience (trải qua) culture shock when they visit Australia for the first time.
“I went through a really hard culture shock, and I’ve traveled a lot. But the culture shock in South Korea was very strong for me, especially the food” Clouse said.
Culture shock and the language barrier (rào cản ngôn ngữ) are by far the most common issues expats (người nước ngoài) working in Vietnam have to grapple (vật lộn) with.
I wouldn’t say there were any major culture shocks, however, it did take some time to adjust (điều chỉnh) to a different pace. I have lived in a very fast-moving environment (môi trường) in Dubai before and having moved to Bali, the pace has significantly slowed down.
