"Get face" nghĩa là gì?

“Get face” = Có thể diện, sĩ diện -> Có được sự tôn trọng và được coi là người có vị thế trong xã hội.
Ví dụ
“As a kid, I did it in rebellion (cuộc nổi loạn) and to feel like I was a part of something,” he said. “As I grew older, it helped me get face and built my self-confidence and as an adult, it’s mostly just really fun and an excuse to hang out with friends.”
Do your best to initiate what you want to happen. A take-charge attitude will put you in a good position and help you get face and recognition. Offer dynamic suggestions and solutions, and you’ll impress everyone you encounter.
“If you treated me with more respect…” Respect is earned over time, it cannot be commanded instantly. People who demand respect often don’t deserve it. Respect should be given in the same measure it is received. Abusive behavior is not justified because of a lack of respect. That does nothing to get face and everything to lose it.
