"Some (people) are more equal than others" = vài người được bình đẳng hơn những người khác -> cho dù có bình đẳng thì vẫn có những người được đối xử tốt hơn. Cụm từ xuất hiện trong quyển "Animal Farm" của George Orwell: "All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others."

Ví dụ
But Yale can’t just let the rat race (cuộc đua chuột vô tận - theo đuổi vô nghĩa) stop, not for one minute. After all, if we don’t have grades, how will we know what we’re worth (xứng đáng)? Yes, all students are equal, but some are more equal than others.

The stark divergence (khác biệt rõ rệt) in performance of shares (cổ phiếu hiệu suất) of consumer firms has prompted (thúc đẩy) Kotak Institutional Equities to take inspiration (lấy cảm hứng) from English novelist (tiểu thuyết gia), George Orwell. In a report on Tuesday, the broking firm (công ty môi giới) said: “All consumer companies are equal...but some are more equal than others."

Customer loyalty programs (chương trình khách hàng thân thiết) treat some customers as more equal than others. In this pandemic (đại dịch), businesses are finding other ways to add value (tăng giá trị). Many grocers (người bán hàng tạp hóa), for example, have instituted (đặt ra) early shopping hours for senior citizens (người cao tuổi), who are considered most vulnerable (dễ bị nhiễm) to COVID-19.
