"Wear the pants (in the house)" = mặc quần trong nhà -> nghĩa là trụ cột gia đình, đảm nhiệm mọi việc trong nhà.

Meghan quite clearly wears the pants in that relationship and all I can say is “welcome to the club, Harry”.

You're the man of the house, you wear the pants, go ahead and sell our property (tài sản) to a Jap and see what comes of it.

The tables would be turned in his household; his wife would obey (nghe lời) hrs orders—or else. Anyway, he would never marry a woman like his stepmother who wanted to wear the pants.

She and Ben discuss finances (thảo luận tài chính), and she appears to want to be in on every family decision they make — some have suggested that she “wears the pants” in the marriage. People have started to believe that her strong personality (tính cách mạnh mẽ) resulted in her not wanting to take a back seat.
