"One's head is more than just a hat rack" = cái đầu không chỉ là nơi treo mũ -> nghĩa là đầu của người có não, thông minh, dí dỏm và suy nghĩ logic.

Ví dụ
Well, he knew he wasn't very smart, but he had learned to use his head for more than just a hat rack.

We surely need not be reminded that history is a tool, relevant apart from the classroom setting, that actually has practical utility (ứng dụng thực tế)— like a head is more than just a hat rack.

Don't be slothful (lười biếng) and lazy. When you have sought God and you know what you ought to do, do it because you do not want to lose it. We tell children all the time “Use your head for more than a hat rack."

My grandmother is a wonderfully wise (khôn ngoan) and down to earth (thực tế) woman of God. When you would do something crazy, she would say "Girl, use your head for more than a hat rack!" Use the brain God gave you to articulate (nói rõ ràng) what you believe, not just to hold your hat on straight.
